When I watch the Flames play and fail, I get less frustrated looking at teams like New Jersey who have accumulated top talent through the draft and more-so by teams like the Bruins. Charlie Coyle and Pavel Zacha are their top two centres. Derek Forbert and Shattenkirk are in their top 4 D. James Van Reimsdyk is somewhere in their middle 6. Yes they have Pasternak and an old Marchand that are top talents. But the rest is meh.

In spite of how the Flames play, they have enough talent to be a good (maybe not great) team.

Watching them is very unenjoyable with the same turnovers at the offensive blue line turning into odd man goals agains and being unable to finish when the finally generate good chances.
