As a coach Huska was brutal in the AHL, so really why would he get good now.
Mitch Love was a successful coach and instead of giving him a chance they promoted Pierre Maguire 2.0.
I mean, it's probably better to just collapse than be the 20th overall team, but at least instill some good habits and get them playing a good brand of hockey.

Was Love a successful coach? He had the best goalie in the league and got good regular season results but zero play-off success even with a stud keeper.
Not saying Huska is great but the Mitch Love hype is always weird to me. Neither guy should have even been considered for our job.
