I asked this before and unless I misunderstood, the draft is expected to be above average at the very top of the 1st round, so like the top 5 to 10 picks or so, but then pretty average after that.
It's really the best situation for teams that are drafting high. In above average drafts that are deep in the 1st round, it's nice that every team might possibly get a great prospect, but teams also aren't gaining ground relative to each other.
