Exactly this. People tend to fall in love with depth defenseman because they are sheltered which makes them seem to be better than they really are.
I think Zadorov is. 4/5 damn, but if he took Hanifin's minutes he would be a whopping boy on his board PDQ.
And I really like him, but there is a reason he's already on his 4th team, soon to be 5.
