I find this interesting... the lack of Canadian players. It is interesting, I am not inferring anything negative by bringing this up. Why are so many Americans happy to play in Vancouver? Are they able to brush off the Canadian media pressure better than a Canadian player?
To answer my question. I would say the answer is Tyler Myers (he has dual citizenship).

Every American I've ever met that's been there likes Vancouver. They figure it's warm enough compared to other Canadian cities, clean (I guess compared to US cities) and attractive (all the parks plys ocean plus mountainsides). I would also guess hockey players figure it's more low key than Montreal/Toronto/Calgary/Edmonton as far as scrutiny goes.
