I've always believed that Johnny wanted to be here but they dragged it out so long that in the end other things became a priority. Johnny talked about it during both negotiations he said that it was brutal having to wait all season long to get a signing done and that he wished to no one else would have to go through that. If you remember at the end of the first signing seemed really pissed off, it seemed like for that year after he wasn't very happy. I think the long drawn out negotiations was part of Trelivings strategy. Start low and work your way up.
