Is a splitter like this safe to use? I'm upgrading the mobo with two 8 pin EPS connections but my power supply only has one cable.

I've also seen on that takes 4 of the 8 pin and adds a molex.

Edit: I'm getting an Intel i5 13500 with a TDP of 65w so I don't think the second cable is necessary.
