Ten or twelve years ago you could actually get good deals on Black Friday - it was worth the effort to look through the flyers and sales. Nowadays it's like they hype it up in an attempt to get you to a place where you've emotionally committed to buying SOMETHING, and as a result, you end up getting something that isn't really a particularly good deal. Meanwhile, you've wasted three hours looking through a pile of "20% off on last year's model" nonsense to try to find a single decent bargain on anything you might actually want or need.
