Leafs fell to the old trope of needing to get tougher to play against. You can't just add tough guys. That's just not how it works.

Having a big oaf on the ice for 12 minutes a night allowing the other team to score against you doesn't make the other team scared. If you want to be a tougher team to play against, your big minute guys need to be tougher to play against. There's no substitute. Adding Ryan Reaves just makes you worse. That's it.
