Habs teams have always been "flashy", free flowing skating teams, "the flying frenchman". The have high end finishers in Caufield and Suzuki locked in long term and they have a coach who has always played an offensively inclined game. In fact, that particularly coach also was not a "good fit" for his original NHL organization. I think Huberdeau could flourish in Montreal, and it could really accelerate their rebuild.
A deal involving Huberdeau, Gallagher, Anderson makes a lot of sense. Those players are on the wrong team right now.

Right. But Jonathan is on the record as saying it's a tough spot for native Quebecers. And if he's having trouble adjusting to a Cdn market after FLA, I can't see MTL being a better fit that way. *shrugs*
