35 years ago, Calgary had a health board for each local hospital.
Then the Alberta Conservative Government told us would be better (i.e. fiscally prudent/ better service) to put all of Calgary's hospitals into a regional structure.
Then the Alberta Conservative Government told us would be better (i.e. fiscally prudent/ better service) to put all of the regional board hospitals into a Central provincial authority.
Then the Alberta Conservative Government told us would be better (i.e. fiscally prudent/ better service) to put all of the ambulance serivices into a Central provincial authority.
Then the Alberta Conservative Government told us would be better (i.e. fiscally prudent/ better service) to put separate the Central provincial health authority into separate divisions.
Is there a common thread here?
