I dunno, I am currently in Greece at the moment for a longer term stay and when the time changed in Europe a week earlier than in NA, it was a non issue.

I literally mean nobody really brought it up. It was discussed amongst members of my family and friends as a reminder to me, the Greek Canadian guy to make sure my phone and watch reset, this was after the fact. The first 2 days I assumed I woke up earlier than I thought.

Growing up in the 80's and 90's, I just don't remember debates or concerns or talks about parents, children etc not being able to adjust.

Maybe the complaining is very North American centered?
