100% I would take him back. As far as his character or lack of loyalty, it's fairly common for people to make mistakes and then regret them. He made a decision that was best for him and his family at the time and you can't really fault him for that (even though he could have been more transparent etc).
Never going to happen but give me JG any day over JH.
