Actual elections in the past few years have almost all had dems outperforming vs their previous efforts.. is it just a case that things like abortion aren't reflecting in the polls but impacts turnout?
And one would think that if the current economic situation continues peoples' opinions of the economy should improve in the next year.
The court battles aren't going to be much help, I doubt any will be fully resolved by the election.
Still it is very worrying.
