I would assume if there ever were a deal between the 2 teams and one of their prime young assets were on the line it would only be if Lindholm were signing an extension.
With the Flames having extensive contract negotiations with both Lindholm and Hanifin Conroy will be able to tell rival GM’s what their ask would be on an 8 year deal. I could easily see Lindholm accepting a deal closer to $8M if it was the right market like an LA, Florida but obviously not here or Columbus.
