The dominant teams have 3-5 elite players so a couple of drafts doesn't get us to that level. We would need some of our own players to reach the talent level that Colorado and TB have.
And even then that means we knock the drafts out of the park which is very unlikely as well. So becoming dominant in that time frame with zero dominant players coming from the group we have is borderline impossible.
