This team is just not that good, no sense in trying to save it. On a good team it has two potential first line forwards, two second line forwards and two third line forwards and the rest of the forwards are 4th liners or AHL players on most good teams.
It has 3 top 4 dman and 2 bottom 6 dmen on a good team. And it has an average goalie.
On top of that it has very little organizational depth so when they lose one of their top 4 dmen it really shows. No amount of moving the chairs on the deck of the titanic is going to cover up for that reality.
