Armia was available on waivers for free 24 days ago but the price was too low to pick him up at that point. Now is the time for Conroy to pull the trigger and give up an asset for him.
Armia is the type of worthless asset that a contending team would throw in a 2nd round pick with him in a trade where they got back 50 bucks just to get out from under his contract.

I’m just saying he’s been linked to us previously. If we can get him for 50% does that change the calculus? Maybe we get a sweetener to take him on? I’m not suggesting paying top dollar, rather take him on with conditions and maybe he rebounds or at the bare minimum, plays a solid defensive game. It’s not a huge risk. With the smurfs we have on the team that don’t play 200 foot game and don’t do much unless they have the puck on their stick, maybe time to bring in players who have that ability.
