Would we even trade Lindholm for McDavid at this point? Elias has 8 points and McDavid only has 9. We have enough middling point men, no need to pick up another.
Some might point out that Mercer had 56 points in his 21 year old year and Lindholm only had 39 at the same age but I think the first 10 games are a good enough sample size to put an end to this Mercer could be good insanity.
