Hanifin gone would open up a chance to trade for perunovich, who is 25 and a high ceiling. We can do this by moving a forward to st. Louis.
There are moves to make the flames a younger team, without a rebuild. 23 to 26 year old college or European players should be conroys bread and butter, I think.

If you are 25 years old and are an offensive dman who has 6 points in 21 NHL games I would really question how high your ceiling is. This team is bad enough in my opinion to make poor trades for 24-26 year old players and still finish bottom 5 in the league.
