A vote to expel Republican lawmaker George Santos from the U.S. House of Representatives failed on Wednesday when fewer than two-thirds of the chamber supported the resolution.
…
But the resolution failed to gain the required two-thirds vote. Supporters could not even gain a simple majority, with the vast majority of Republicans and more than 30 Democrats voting against expelling Santos.
The final vote was 179 for expulsion and 213 against.

Has he been convicted?
Expulsion without conviction seems wrong, IMO.
A suspension until conviction seem better.
Suspend him until there is a verdict.
PS: I can't stand Santos
