What a brutal indictment on years of offensive ineptitude from a coaching perspective. The only reason in the past that the Flames generated any offence was because Gaudreau (mainly him IMO) refused to generate offence the way the coaches wanted him to. The Flames for years have spent time low in the zone on the cycle, Johnny was the only guy I can remember who stretched the zone.
