Coronato is not playing like a guy that 50-100 games in the AHL would not help. He is running out of ELC time and is a candidate to be caught not NHL ready and having to clear waivers in 2 years like Valimaki. Pretty much everyone drafted before him in 2021 is either a legit NHL star or playing in the AHL.
He is not Monahan/Gaudreau/Tkachuk level of player that were NHL ready on day 1 of their first pro contract.

The only guys that are stars are the ones drafted at the top: Powers, Beniers, McTavish, Hughes. How is Coronato different than pretty much every guy drafted between 5 and 12. They are all guys figuring out how to be a pro player.
I swear to god I can't even follow what point it is you are trying to make.
Suggesting he is a waiver loss candidate, 11 games into his career, is non sensical.
