You know when the time to beat Edmonton was? The playoffs two years ago when they destroyed the Flames.
Winning today does not benefit the Flames. It does not help them build a team that could:
1) Beat the Oilers in the Playoffs
2) Win the Stanley Cup
Those are the victories I want to see, and the Flames need to hit rock bottom in order to begin admitting there is a problem with how they construct teams.
