I do. I feel bad for both sides. I don't blame Israel for their suffering though. Their blood is on the hands of Hamas and the civilians that support them.
My hope is that once Hamas is destroyed, that the children can be rehabilitated and that future generations won't be raised to be meat soldiers for the wealthy.

With Gazans, it isn't just harmless cosplay. They work it into their education and start training them to be fighters at very early ages.
This article is from 2016 and goes into detail about Hamas educational programs that teach them to be militants for the Hamas cause. Based on when those photos were taken, it is quite possible that some of the kids in those photos grew up to be some of the terrorists that attacked Israel on October 7th.
