Conroy came out saying all the right things. Make room for younger players, do better at asset management, don't let ufa players walk for nothing. Find players that want to be here.
He did one thing out of all that he promised. He left room for younger players. He also traded the one Ufa player we had that unequivocally said he wanted to stay here for peanuts and that player is currently over a point per game on his new team while the Flames are starving for offense. He resigned one Ufa who isn't contributing, although is a notorious slow starter. Other than that he hasn't done anything to address the problems he himself identified. Yeah its early to judge his impact after a small sample size, but he's trending in a negative direction, you can't argue that.
