Do I wish the Flames would commit to an actual rebuild? 100% but I don't pay the bills like Murray Edwards does.

Do I wish this team still had Tkachuk and Gaudreau? 100%, but those pricks decided they didn't want to be here and can now screw off. I hope they never have success on their new teams, and never win a cup.

Do I wish we didn't have $17.5M combined allocated to Kadri and Huberdeau? 100%, but we do, so for as long as they are wearing the Flaming C im going to hope that they play well because that's the best chance we have at either winning with them, or being able to trade them.

I'm a fan of the team. Not certain players, not certain coaches, a fan of the team. And I will cheer for the team to have success even if it means I'm wrong about certain things or certain players.

We can make fun of Oilers fans all we want but at least they actually cheer for their team and want them to win.

This fan base cheering for certain players to fail, or for the team to fall flat on their face is embarassing. Cheer for the team, don't cheer to be "right"
The boo birds were out in Edmonton tonight as well after their lacklustre performance. It’s also a lot easier cheering for a team that has the best player in the world and can get people out of their seats on any given night. Flames have none of that flare at the moment and are an aging collection of complimentary pieces.

I wouldn’t be so quick to defend Oiler fans as they were definitely cheering for losses during their dark years and would celebrate draft lotteries like winning the Stanley Cup. Expectations this year for both clubs are far different.
