The problem is it was like New York knew full well they didn't have to dominate on the ice, and could still win that game.

I'm sure that teams have clued in that they can let the Flames skate around and do their thing cycling around the outside and just need to collapse around their net and wait for the Flames to make mistakes and be caught up ice to strike, because those chances most certainly will come.

One softy on Markstrom is also almost guaranteed per game (even if he's rock solid the rest of the time, still a killer that an anemic offensive team can't afford).
