Well, not related to your assertion specifically, but this is the way of the world now. Believe nothing that comes out from the other side, and believe everything that your side puts out there.
In US politics, Dems believe MSNBC, CNN, etc. vs. the Republicans who believe Fox News, OAN, etc.
In the west, trusted sources are BBC, NYT, etc. and see CGTN and Global Time as eastern propaganda, but in the east, it's flipped completely where the trusted for the other side are propaganda and the propaganda to the other side are trusted for their side.
