And all the kids were just scampering around interchangeable with the other kids. Those people seriously need to learn what a nap is. No clue how that many people with that much stamina managed to find each other. It defies all logic and probability.

And you're right. Nothing you could do. Crack another beer and try and make sure you come back with the same number of kids you left with. It doesnt have to be the same kids...just the same number.
And then when you get back its BBQ and more drinks and heres a cigar and....on and on.
I dont know where they get the energy...and these arent young people! We're not talking College Dudebros...although they might have used to be, but they're in their 40s and 50s and they're drinking like the English.
It was probably the single most exhausting weekend of my life.
