I don't often (almost never) agree with Sliver but today might be the day.
Everyone wants to live in a mountain town but nobody wants anyone else to live in a mountain town so who gets to decide who gets to live in a mountain town?
Everyone I know that lives in Canmore full time has moved there from somewhere else. My wife used to work for the Town of Canmore and all of he colleagues, with the exception of one, were born outside of the Bow Valley.
On one hand I understand the environmental concerns but I struggle with a bunch of people that have moved to Canmore telling others that Canmore is now closed for further immigration.
