Dean Blundell has devolved into much of the same rage/clickbait snippets too many personalities on the platform have embraced. It's too bad, because apart from being a bit of an instigator he's not as angry and stupid as he sometimes comes off. He had a fairly rational take on Theo Fleury's distrust of authority feeding his radicalization. It was surprisingly empathetic considering how diametrically he is opposed to Theo.
As for the clip, Poilievre is terse and off-putting to start off. The interviewer clearly poses a question not once, but thrice to him and he acts indignant; it's clear what she's asking from the start. When he does finally answer the third time it is a whole string of words that mean absolutely nothing other than to deflect without qualifying, although that's pretty typical politicking.
The rest of Blundell's tripe is pretty lame and I wish more people would hold themselves to higher ethical standards than constantly thrashing around in the mud. With regards to intellect and general competency, Poilievre and Trump aren't in the same stratosphere. As far as appearing to be normal humans that can in any way either relate to the common person or treat them with a modicum of respect, they are part and parcel.
Poilievre has stood and lent support to some awfully backwards people and ideas. Combine that with his basic rhetoric and total lack of personality he's incredibly easy to dislike.
