I don’t know if there is a good solution. Having two massive liabilities on your books for another 5 and 7 years after this season is a big problem. I strongly urge Conroy to avoid adding potential long term liabilities like Lindholm. I like the player but I’m not sure, that without playing with superstars, that he is a whole lot more than the 22 goal scorer that we had last year and paying him $9m+ for another 8 years just compounds the issue.

It hurts so bad that AT WORST we could have had Gaudreau and Tkachuk at $10.5 and $10.5AAV but now we're looking at Huberdeau and Lindholm at $1.5-$2mil less. Sooooo heartbreaking.
