I actually really liked how the Flames came out in this one. We had a lot of rush chances, and good opportunities both 5 on 5 and on the PP. Right now everyone is gripping their sticks a bit tight, that said, I liked the effort.

We're still missing our #1D! Ruzicka got injured half way through the game. The Kadri, Backlund, and Lindholm lines all had chances. There was a good push in the 3rd, and Markstrom made a lot of good saves. NYR are a good team, and we're a middle of the pack team. I still think that the Flames can look a lot better especially if the players figure it out in our own zone.
