I think the problem is that Ashley Eckstein did such a great job of voice acting Ashoka that she has literally become that role. So Rosario came in and was just different.

I mean I still love in the last fight with Maul when she turns around to Maul and says "You're lucky my master isn't here, with the way your fighting you wouldn't last long".

We never got a good Ashokaism in the series.
