Even on my 20+ year old jeep I managed to snap the plastic bracket on a new $20+ wiper blade last night. Ended up with a whole ordeal of coaxing the metal loop open a bit more, sanding down the corrosion and generally futzing around for 20 mins. So now I have one new and one old blade until I get back to the store but I have persuaded the old one back into good enough shape for now.
