The best hope is to find speedy players that can cause a distraction on the ice and give him more room to work with. It sucks, but he is high maintenance when it comes to line creation and deployment, and the Flames have limited options.

Well I can at least his passing is atrocious compared to what it used to be. There's always been glaring holes in his game (like that backcheck Boomer highlighted on the Debrincat goal gives me flashbacks, eww) but there was never denying that his passing is elite. It was tape to tape and he could thread a needle. So that tells me there is something definitely off right now. Maybe the guys aren't gelling in the room? Or maybe it's the contract that's weighing on him.
I just don't think they have any excuses left anymore. They already got the HOF coach fired and to me, once you go to that well it's all on them from that point forward. Everything. So they better get it going here and fast or the criticism is all justified.
