You realize that most of our impact players never spent time in the AHL during Huska's 4 years there. Monahan, Tkachuk, Gaudreau, and even Bennett never went to the AHL.
The obvious impact player is Mangiapane. How many impact forwards came up from the Flames AHL team in the 10 years before, or after Huska? He didn't 'stifle' his forwards offensively in the AHL which is shown by them putting up points.
