Every grey cup champion since then has been very mediocre - including the couple that the Stamps have won. At least back in the day every team had a QB that was capable of throwing for over 300 yards on a regular basis with Flutie/Garcia/Burris/Dickenson, Calvillo, Ray, Pierce/Lulay, Mcmanus, Allen, Jones etc. That's a rarity nowadays with the garbage QBs that teams are rolling out there. Having a garbage gimmick QB like Strevler winning put the league even further back. Looking into the stands, the league has lost the young demographic permanently - they are all into the NFL, fantasy and betting that the CFL has no chance in capturing.

Every GC champion over the last few years is null and void in my opinion due to the low quality of football being played. If a 6-12 Stamps team wins it all this year, that will further cement the point.
