They stopped doing that to them, at least in Canada now you get to pay a single fare even if each bovine cheek needs its own seat, which is annoying since this is not only a preventable problem but is unfair to those of us who can't exploit this two-for-one seat business.

As a so-called bovine (I prefer the term fat ####) I think it's fair to require people who take up more than a single seat to pay extra. There are exceptions though. I have a cousin with Lipoedema, which makes are lower half abnormally wide while the rest of her is skinny. I don't know if she should pay more because her condition is hormonal.
