Normally dumb hockey fans (and especially dumb announcers) who talk about a guy "leaving his feet" when he comes off the ice after contact drive me nuts... but in this case Rasmus was clearly well on his way up when he made contact, it's pretty much textbook launching into a hit. And there's no reason for it, had he just braced himself and planted his feet there'd have been no problem and Laine likely would have been fine.
