I think it's a story to watch. We can have fun ss fans and say the Jets suck. But they were a playoff team last year and they're still competitive. Kyle Connor is a star player to me, and they just signed a couple guys in Schiefele and Hellybyuck who I classify as really good players, Hellybyuck can be argued as being elite. Josh Morrisey is still there too, so it's not like the 90's where all their good players are leaving and being replaced by cheaper unknowns.
The economic conditions are pretty tough for folks right now, and I never saw Winnipeg as a place that was big or affluent enough for people to go spend $300 that often. Nothing against them as fans, I'm not going to NHL games right now. But where I live there's lots of families making double or triple what mine does who can. I don't know if the Manitoba family views a family with 180k income as needy like Albrerta does.
