I do question why people are talking about this. And forgive me, but I don't see the enjoyment you refer to here - only indignation that the league is trying to keep an almost 30 year old team in a city.

Well I guess I kind of ignore the indignation posts, those don't seem to be worth the time to think about and doesn't really seem like a majority of posters. This thread strikes me as a handful of people who are discussing the ongoing situation with the franchise in Phoenix and when/where it could potentially move. And then a couple of people who want to question why they care.
On a somewhat related note, Diamondback tickets have plummeted for tonight's game. You can get in the door for $15.
Only their third NLCS appearance, first in 16 years, still have a chance in the series down 0-2. Maybe Phoenix market isn't all that great for sports? Guess we'll see how many empty seats today.
