I guess owning somebody is using the “what do you mean by that?”, “give me an example” strategy and then interrupting the guy constantly while he’s trying to say something. That’s pretty easy to do, actually.
Do you feel owned when someone asks you to clarify or give examples?

The reporter was asking loaded question dripping with bias and got rightfully questioned for it. Once he decided to drop the pretenses and just ask the question straight "why should people vote for you" he got a straight answer.
