It looks to me like it's a team that simply lacks finishers. I'm thinking they may have been better off holding on to Toffoli until the trade deadline as he was the one shooter that could cash in and it's a big loss to get a 4th liner in return. I'm not saying Sharangovich is a bad player but he doesn't look like he's going to be a big contributor this season at least. Kadri simply look really bad to open the season and I feel that's maybe the move that sent this team into a tailspin as he's not been a great fit and they gave up a lot to take on his contract. To me he just doesn't look like a guy that fits on this team and what they want to do. He seems like a guy that can only flourish in a secondary role on a team full of leaders that can insulate him.
