I think the real issue here is that Cavalry just can't win in the playoffs.
We saw their mental fragility on full display Saturday. Come out, take the game to Forge, but don't capitalize on their chances. Then a cheap corner given away, a Forge player winning the header against three defenders and suddenly Forge are in control and Cavalry are completely rattled until Camargo hits the crossbar midway through the second half. This despite dominating Forge the last time they played at home and Forge requiring two late equalizers to get draws earlier in the year.
The table and Cavalry's 13 point lead on 2nd place dictates they should be the class of the league but once playoffs come it was same Cavalry.

Just wanted to point out that this isn't what happened. Carducci "won" the cross, but instead of catching it, he punched it right into the back of either our player or theirs. (I couldn't quite tell).
