The NHL needs to look at the NFL model of short-term contracts for all but the big names. I find it ridiculous that Dustin Wolf isn't playing for us, and likely won't for another two or three years, due to the terrible Markstrom contract.
Just look at the ticket exchange sub-forum on this website. Only a sucker or a rich person with more money than sense would pay for season tickets. The real kicker is that we all know ticket prices are likely to double when the new arena opens. Very tough to be optimistic about this joke of a franchise. I honestly think we're in the worst situation we've ever been in. There's no way out, we just have to wait six or seven years for these bad contracts to come off the books.

Weegar!? You are don't know what you are talking about if you think Weegar has negative value
