To #### on gambling but not the alcohol commercials is hilariously hypocritical. The only difference is that beer/drinking is a huge part of hockey culture and much more normalized in society.
There were almost 4000 alcohol related deaths in Canada last year yet I haven't heard a peep about anyone complaining about Original 16 being a Flames official sponsor or trying to lobby governemnt to remove alcohol advertising.
Alcohol advertisements are not as heavily regulated, but I would be happy to see those go as well. Anything that is for an adult should not be advertised during family events. Cannabis, tobacco, alcohol, and gambling should all be illegal to advertise, but for some reason we give certain potential vices a pass when it comes to advertising. I drink alcohol, have used cannabis, formerly smoked, and don't gamble, but I hate that these possible addictions are being marketed to youth. It is utter stupidity that Cigarette advertisements are illegal, yet alcohol is fine. Imagine tobacco companies were able to advertise as long as they said "smoke responsibly. (no more than 1 cigarette per week)"

Alcohol advertising in Canada could use some Loi Evin.
