Again, I'm not saying you have to like the guy, but I also don't think you can simply discount what he says because you don't like him.

People don’t discount him because he’s unlikeable, people discount him because he’s repeatedly been found to spread misinformation (far beyond the realm of the Israel/Palestine conflict) on purpose, which is easily debunked, and usually has a poor understanding of almost any subject he discusses, which doesn’t actually matter because his entire business model is courting controversy. He’s poor at conveying ideas, and the ideas he does convey are usually terrible.
You can absolutely discount him, 100%. If you are nodding along to a Ben Shapiro video, you have gotten something wrong.
