Zero chance he accepts 4 years when his next contract at that age would take a nose dive.
Plus “ dealing him now” when few teams with any interest in him would not have the available cap space would simply result in a terrible deal for the Flames. The chouces now are to sign him or wait until the trade deadline when possibilities should open up.
